Wow! The video on Youtube is astounding and looks like some elaborate fake. This phenomenon has been documented for hundreds of years, but in all likliehood you won’t have heard of it. It is called a Sun Dog and happens when atmospheric conditions are just right for ice crystals in the air to scatter the sunlight just right.
